What's Life ? After Hanging Up My Dancing Shoe

While she was at the cross road of her dancing career or life of a dancer which is comparatively short, she can stay out of the limelight as a dancer, which is her only passion and stretch to fifteen years while she teach and train all the potential young student and groom them to be great dancers of the future. Many things have crossed her mind, the question is often asked, shall I take on a romantic journey as a disable person and enjoy my life to the fullest. What type of soulmate is suitable for me being slightly imperfect, Mr Soso, Mr OK, Mr RICH,Mr RIGHT or Mr PERFECT?

Her dream of becoming a international class dancer came true. Over the next decade she garnered acclaim for herself and the troupe with her graceful performances. Today, she sees her role changing as she takes on new responsibilities as the art director and president of the troupe. Her days are now filled with myriad different tasks that she happily completes, always willing to devote herself to the troupe that has nurtured her.
Aware that her time on the stage cannot last forever, Tai lihua spends a great deal of her time and energy not on the stage but in practice halls among new younger members of the troupe. Passionate as ever, she passes down the skills and lessons of her experience, inspiring the troupe to reach even bigger dreams.

This special band is the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe's instrumental band. These musicians are all (clinically) blind but they are as independent and confident as any sighted person.

Unfortunately she recalls those days in her childhood, I lost my hearing at the age of 2, due to the injection of streptomycin when I had a fever. Her future was very bleak, how could she overcome her impaired hearing and she also lost the use and functionality of her vocal chord. Her family was very poor to seek or enlist doctor to treat her disability. With such a young and tender age, she has to face so many obstacles in life, it is an insurmountable task for adult not to mention for a 2years old child.

Under many adverse circumstances, she has endured all the hardship and tough time in life or life has to offer, nevertheless difficult circumstances did not alter or change her dream or course of becoming a dancer one day, neither the tough time lasted as she was not about to give up without a good fight. She is a conqueror and may be more fittingly an over-comer that suited her personality of a non-quitter.

This reminds me as a believer that our life is a gift that God has given to each of us. Jesus said in John 10:10 “ I have come that you might have and enjoy life and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows”. You see, God chose you and me before the foundation of the world – and He’s planned our days for good and not for evil. He entrusts us with is, to view them as a great gift from a loving and caring Father. Can you think of anything worse than receiving a gift and refusing to enjoy it? But that’s exactly what some people do. They drag through life with no joy, no happiness and no enthusiasm – they’re just going the motions and waiting for the day that things change for the better.

Dear brothers and sisters, our enjoyment of life shouldn’t be based on our circumstances. Enjoying life should be an attitude of the heart. And that attitude begins with the understanding that our life is a gift from God.. God’s desire is not that we hurry through life, thinking joy lies in reaching some future destination. His desire is that we enjoy the entire journey.
Making thing worse for her is that she too was suffering from speech disability. The disabled 2 years old girl has one thing that many normal 2 years old do not have, which is a “BIG HEART”. A heart that had performed the multitude that is so essential for her to become an accomplished dancer today. Her heart which has served as a piano or musical instrument that is so necessary for a dancer and also creating the rhythm and the feeling of the tempo inside her heart Hiding behind those happy and joyful face, is a very combative personality of a fighter, who have fought against all odds stacked against her. She managed to hold her own not without the sheer determination and self imposed dedication.. Her many long hours of sacrifice on dance floor or practices has finally paid off when she was called to the dance troupe and achieved her dream and vision to perform in the stage for the disable people. It is no longer a dream and it is a reality that she has overcame and achieved the only favourite passion and pastime of her – “dancing”.

In your and my life, God has our steps planned. He has our days ordered, so knowing that, you and I should decide today not to get frustrated and bent out of shape because we’re not progressing as quickly as we’d like or our plans are sometimes frustrated. Remember that we never really “arrive”. There are many stages we must go through for God to develop and mature us and each stage or phase is vital to the next. Don’t get so caught up in the hopes of tomorrow that you forget to enjoy today.

Life is the dancer and you are the dance

This means that you don't live your life, but that life lives you. A lady has described that, I was really sad because I had just lost a loved one and the grief was experiencing was unbearable. This quote taught me that even though I miss this person, that I still must live in the present moment and make the best of it. I cannot go back in the past and change anything, I only have control over right now.

To dance, like no one appreciate
To love, like never been hurt
To sing, like no one listen to
To work, like no need of money
To live, like there is no tomorrow...

跳舞吧,像没有人欣赏一样
去爱吧,像不曾受过一次伤一样
唱歌吧,像没有任何人聆听一样
干活吧,像不需要钱一样
生活吧,像明天是末日一样

SPECIAL ART, is a new phrase used to describe the art form performed by people with disabilities since the late 20th century. It is a new blossoming in the performing art.

My Dream is an extraordinary performing art presented by China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe:

Tai Lihua fell in love with dancing when she was a little girl but her professional training did not begin until she was 15. For anyone who hopes to take up professional dancing as a career, this is considered to be a very late start. However, Tai lihua proved to be as determined a dancer as she was talented, bearing the pain of every split undiscouraged. Under the tutorage of one of China's greatest dance instructors of all time, Yang liping, she excelled and it was soon clear that she would take a leading role in the troupe's development.

She is fully aware that her time on the stage cannot last forever, Tai lihua spends a great deal of her time and energy not on the stage but in practice halls among new younger members of the troupe. Passionate as ever, she passes down the skills and lessons of her experience, inspiring the troupe to reach even bigger dreams.

A unique group of performers: Some blind, some deaf, and others handicapped, but all sharing the same dream. That's what you'll see in "My Dream Four", the latest from China Disabled People's Art Troupe. The show does more than dazzle the eye - it awes the audience with sheer dedication and talent.
